Malakai Black Aligns With Andrade El Idolo, The Coronation Of King Xavier | WWE/AEW Fight Size

Here is your post-WWE/AEW fight size update for Friday, October 22, 2021.

WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns opened SmackDown, questioning Paul Heyman’s loyalty. He then called out Brock Lesnar, who threatened to beat Roman senseless after the result of Crown Jewel’s Universal Championship Match.

Brock eventually came out and threw Roman all around ringside. The Usos came to help but The Beast disposed of them too. Lesnar proceeded to toss around officials, crew members, and other talents.

After order was restored, Adam Pearce announced that Lesnar was being suspended indefinitely. Brock didn’t take the news well, delivering two F5’s to the WWE Official.

– Drew McIntyre marked his first night on SmackDown by issuing an open challenge to the locker room. Sami Zayn answered the call, debuting new entrance music in the process. Though he put up a good fight, time wasted taunting cost him the match as Drew delivered a Claymore for the pin and win.

– After winning the King of the Ring tournament, a coronation ceremony was held for Xavier Woods.

– After defeating him at Crown Jewel, Mansoor doubled down, pinning Mustafa Ali for the second day in a row.

– Hit Row made their SmackDown debuts, introducing themselves to the WWE Universe before Isaiah Swerve Scott and Top Dolla defeated a pair of local talents.

– A distraction from Madcap Moss allowed Happy Corbin to get the victory over Shinsuke Nakamura in a Championship Contenders Match.

– In the main event segment, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair swapped title belts, ensuring the Raw and SmackDown titles remained on their proper brand. Sasha Banks interrupted them after the switch was made, brawling with Flair to end the show.

AEW Rampage

– Orange Cassidy defeated Powerhouse Hobbs in the first round of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament. He will face the winner of Jon Moxley vs. Dark Order’s 10 in the semi-finals.

– FTR attacked Penta and Alex Abrahantes, getting the better of the Lucha Bro for the second consecutive week. With Rey Fenix still nursing an injury sustained last week, Death Triangle member PAC had to come out to make the save.

– Britt Baker defeated Anna Jay on AEW Rampage, continuing her assault on the Dark Order member after the match. #1 ranked contender Tay Conti came out to save her best friend.

– The bracket for the TBS Women’s Championship tournament has been revealed.

– PAC defeated Andrade El Idolo in the main event of Rampage, countering a hammerlock-DDT with a roll-up for the win. After the bell, the lights went out and Malakai Black appeared, spitting green mist in PAC’s eyes. Just as he and Andrade were about to beat up PAC with a chair, Cody Rhodes came off and chased the heels away. He is set to face Malakai Black for the third time tomorrow night on Dynamite.
