AEW Announces New Breast Cancer Non-Profit Partnership
AEW has partnered with Breast Cancer Research Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
On October 19, AEW announced a partnership with Susan G. Komen to raise awareness and fund finding a cure for breast cancer with proceeds for merchandise sales going to the organization.
CM Punk famously called out the Susan G. Komen organization, a former WWE partner, in 2015, saying the organization was a scam.
Punk tweeted, “If you’re going to give money to a company that claims to raise money for finding a cure for cancer, please do some research. Komen is a scam”
AEW deleted the tweet and Punk addressed the partnership as well.
