Sergio Pettis vs. Kyoji Horiguchi Set For Bellator 272 In December
Current Bellator bantamweight champion Sergio Pettis will make his first title defense against former champion Kyoji Horiguchi on December 3 at a yet-to-be-announced Bellator event.
Morning Kombat’s Brian Campbell and Luke Thomas were the first to report the news on the latest edition of their show, although Bellator is yet to officially announce the bout themselves. Pettis is currently on a four-fight winning streak and is coming off of a unanimous decision victory over former Bellator bantamweight champion, Juan Archuleta, back at Bellator 258 in May. Horiguchi on the other hand is 14-1 in his last 15 bouts and defeated Kai Asakura via a first-round TKO in their rematch at Rizin 26 to regain the Rizin bantamweight title.
