Sasha Banks: I Hope I Get To Wrestle Becky Lynch Forever
Sasha Banks has no hard feelings toward Becky Lynch after “The Man” took her SummerSlam title shot.
At WWE Crown Jewel in a triple threat against both Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair, Sasha Banks will finally get her opportunity at the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship that she was supposed to get at SummerSlam when Becky Lynch had to make the save because Sasha Banks was deemed unfit to compete.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Bump, Sasha Banks explains that she has no hard feelings toward Becky and she actually feels like Becky made a smart move and was impressed with how quickly she was able to defeat Bianca.
“No, not at all. Becky Lynch is on the top of her game. She is a mother now, she’s super smart, and she beat Bianca in 26 seconds. That sounds like a worthy champion to me, but The Boss is back, The Boss is better than ever, and I plan on being the SmackDown Women’s Champion, Kayla.”
Speaking about her rivalry with Becky Lynch, which extends back to their days as Team BAE in NXT, Sasha would commend Becky Lynch for her character both inside and outside of the ring and say that she wants to wrestle her for as long as she possibly can.
“Oh man, I hope to wrestle Becky Lynch for the rest of my life. She’s an incredible opponent in the ring. She’s an incredible person outside of the ring and she is just one of my favorites to wrestle in general. I just hope we have this rivalry for a very long time.”
Currently, Sasha Banks is the only SmackDown woman in the match as both Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair were drafted to Monday Night Raw and the effects of the draft will go into place following the WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view.
