WWE RAW Results for 10/18/21 The Last Stop Before Crown Jewel

Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight’s edition of WWE RAW!
– RAW Women’s champion Charlotte Flair comes out to the ring and addresses the WWE Universe in regards to her title defense against Bianca Belair later tonight before she’s interrupted by Bianca before the two exchange words and Charlotte hits Bianca before Bianca goes for the KOD and Charlotte escapes to the apron before Bianca knocks her off and Charlotte leaves up the ramp.
King of the Ring Tournament Semifinal Match
Xavier Woods (w/ Kofi Kingston) vs Jinder Mahal (w/ Veer & Shanky)
Jinder tries to back Xavier into the corner, but Xavier turns it around and scrapes his forearm across Jinder’s face before Jinder rocks him with a back elbow and Xavier hits a drop toe hold into a dropkick against the ropes. Xavier chops Jinder in the corner before Jinder escapes and runs Xavier over with a shoulder block before taking Xavier down with a side headlock take over. Xavier hits a side Russian leg sweep into a front dropkick for two before Jinder hits a back suplex and Xavier gets two off of a sunset flip before Jinder sends him over the top rope and down onto the floor as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Jinder in control before hitting a Khallas for a near fall as Xavier grabs the bottom rope for the break before Xavier counters a back superplex and hits a springboard elbow drop for the pin and the win.
Winner: Xavier Woods defeats Jinder Mahal via pinfall to advance to the finals of the tournament.
– Earlier today we get a backstage interview with Austin Theory before Reggie runs past and Austin has a confrontation with R-Truth before the two agree to a match later tonight.
– We get a video package for the No Holds Barred match between Bobby Lashley and Goldberg at Crown Jewel this Thursday.
Austin Theory vs Jeff Hardy
Before the expected match with R-Truth, Truth comes out and makes Jeff Hardy his replacement before Jeff starts the match by taking Austin down and rolling him up for two before rolling him up with the tights for a near fall. Jeff dropkicks Austin out of the ring before he goes out onto the apron and Austin sweeps him before hitting a neckbreaker off of the apron and onto the floor as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Austin in control back in the ring before Jeff comes back with an inverted atomic drop into a leg drop and a front dropkick into a splash for two. Jeff sends Austin out of the ring before hitting a dive off of the steps and Austin crotches him on the top rope when Jeff tosses him back inside and goes for a Swanton Bomb. Austin then capitalizes as Jeff falls down onto the mat before Austin pins Jeff with a TKO.
Winner: Austin Theory defeats Jeff Hardy via pinfall.
– After the match Austin lies down next to Jeff and takes a selfie before he turns around and Jeff is standing there before he hits Austin with a Twist of Fate and takes a selfie next to Austin on the mat before leaving.
– We get a recap of Drew McIntyre and Big E fighting last week during their tag match before we cut to the two backstage ahead of them tagging tonight to take on the Dirty Dawgs before facing each other at Crown Jewel for the WWE title.
– In the office Charlotte shows up and informs Adam and Sonya that she’s insulted by not getting a going away party and that she has to defend her title tonight on the final night of her on the RAW roster.
Big E & Drew McIntyre vs Dirty Dawgs
E and Dolph start the match off before Drew comes in and tosses Dolph into the corner and drops him with a chop before Dolph kicks him in the knee and drags him to the corner as Robert comes in. Robert hits mounted punches in the corner before Drew comes back with a shoulder block and hits a float over suplex before E comes back in and beats on Robert near the apron before missing a splash onto the apron and E grabs Dolph and throws him into the time keeper’s area. Robert then drives E into the steps as Drew checks on E as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Dolph and Robert in control of E in their corner before E gets the hot tag to Drew before Drew drops Robert repeatedly and hits an overhead belly to belly. Drew suplexes Dolph and drops Robert before kipping up and hitting an Alabama slam with Dolph onto Robert before Robert hits a spine buster for two as Dolph rips E off of the apron. Dolph hits an assisted famouser for a near fall before Drew headbutts Robert and tags in E who finishes Robert with the Big Ending for the pin and the win.
Winner: Big E and Drew McIntyre defeat Dirty Dawgs via pinfall.
– After the match Drew and E shake hands before they start yelling at each other before E holds up the title.
– We get a backstage promo by the Street Profits after their failing to capture the Smackdown Tag Team titles last week before they’re interrupted by AJ Styles and Omos as we go to commercial.
Mansoor vs Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander (w/ Shelton Benjamin))
Cedric beats Mansoor down and controls him on the mat before locking in a rear chin lock and Mansoor gets to his feet and comes back with a reverse DDT into a slingshot neckbreaker in the ropes for the pin and the win.
Winner: Mansoor defeats Cedric Alexander via pinfall.
– After the match Mansoor’s former partner Mustafa Ali comes out onto the stage and mocks him before the two exchange words ahead of their match at Crown Jewel.
– We get a side by side satellite interview with Bobby and Goldberg ahead of their No Holds Barred match at Crown Jewel.
– We go backstage to Riddle talking to Randy Orton ahead of their defending their RAW Tag Team titles at Crown Jewel against AJ and Omos and their match against Street Profits up next as we go to commercial.
RK-Bro vs Street Profits
Riddle and Montez kick things off for their respective teams as Montez puts Riddle in a standing side headlock before Montez does several back flips and they run the ropes before Montez dropkicks Riddle. SP then double up on Riddle for two before Randy drags Angelo out of the ring and Riddle sends Montez out of the ring before Riddle hits Angelo with a PK from the apron and a corkscrew senton before Montez takes out Randy and Riddle with a tope as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Randy in control of Montez before Riddle hits a spinning gut wrench suplex and Montez comes back with an enzuigiri before he gets the hot tag to Angelo who clotheslines Riddle and knocks Randy off of the apron. Angelo hits a t-bone suplex into a twisting butterfly suplex for two before Montez comes back in and Randy clotheslines him before hitting a powerslam and a draping DDT. Randy is then distracted by Omos who comes out to the ring before AJ hits Randy with a Phenomenal Forearm from off camera for the disqualification.
Winner: RK-Bro defeat Street Profits via disqualification.
– After the match Omos lays out both RK-Bro and Street Profits before he and AJ stand tall in the ring before Omos lays out Randy with a roundhouse kick.
– We get a video package for the Smackdown Women’s champion Becky Lynch ahead of her defending her title in a Triple Threat Match at Crown Jewel before she joins the RAW roster next week.
Queens Crown Tournament Semifinal Match
Shayna Baszler vs Doudrop
Doudrop shoves Shayna backwards into the corner when they lock up before Shayna kicks the legs of Doudrop and Doudrop hits a Saito suplex into a cannonball in the corner before Shayna counters a driver into a sleeper. Doudrop then drives Shayna back into the corner before slinging her off of her back and missing a sliding cross body before Shayna locks in the Kirifuda clutch before Doudrop leans back and pins Shayna’s shoulders to the mat for the win.
Winner: Doudrop defeats Shayna Baszler via pinfall to advance to the finals of the tournament.
– Backstage WWE Women’s Tag Team champions Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley offer Bianca Belair words of encouragement and a RAW branded hat ahead of her challenging Charlotte for the RAW Women’s title before she joins the red brand next week on a permanent basis.
Finn Balor vs Mace
Mace drops Finn with a back elbow for two before wrenching his head and neck before Finn gets to his feet and Mace lays into him with strikes in the corner before whipping Finn into the opposite corner. Mace then misses a running back elbow in the corner before Mace catches Finn coming off of the ropes and hits a black hole slam for two before Finn comes back with a sling blade and a shotgun dropkick into the Coup de Grace for the pin and the win.
Winner: Finn Balor defeats Mace via pinfall.
– After the match Finn has a confrontation with Xavier who’s been sitting on the throne on the stage before they nearly come to blows and Kofi comes out and gets between the two.
– Backstage Viking Raiders interrupt John Morrison meditating before he offers them advice as we go to commercial.
WWE RAW Women’s Championship Match
Charlotte Flair (c) vs Bianca Belair
Bianca and Charlotte exchange standing switches before taking each other down with waist locks before running the ropes and mirroring a dropkick before Charlotte kicks Bianca in the midsection when she rejects her hand shake. Bianca drives Charlotte into the corner before Charlotte rocks her with a knee lift and stomps her down in the corner before reversing an Irish whip and Bianca dropkicks Charlotte onto the apron before Charlotte pulls Bianca out of the ring. Charlotte then tosses Bianca over the announce table and gets back into the ring to pose for the crowd as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Charlotte in control back in the ring before Bianca comes back with a dropkick when she gets her knees up when Charlotte goes for a standing moonsault before hitting Charlotte with one of her own. Bianca hits a delayed suplex for two before she goes for a jumping splash and Charlotte gets her knees up before powerbombing Bianca for two before landing on her feet when she goes for a moonsault and hits a standing moonsault for two. Bianca then gets two off of a crucifix before hitting a spine buster and Charlotte rolls out of the ring to avoid the pin attempt before Bianca goes out after her and sends her over the announce table before getting back into the ring as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Charlotte in control back in the ring as we see that she hit a slingshot cross bodyin regard tonca at ringside during the break before Charlotte knocks Bianca off of the top and down onto the floor. Back in the ring Bianca gets two before Charlotte grabs the ropes when Bianca goes for a KOD before Charlotte snaps her neck across the top rope and they counter each other until Charlotte spears Bianca inside out for a near fall. Charlotte goes up top and lands on her feet when she misses a moonsault before Bianca hits a release German for a near fall before Charlotte catches Bianca up top and Bianca fights off a superplex and hits an avalanche bomb for a near fall. Charlotte then gets out of the ring and comes back in before hitting Bianca with it for the disqualification.
Winner: Bianca Belair defeats Charlotte Flair, but Charlotte retains her RAW Women’s title due to champions advantage.
