TAELER: USA Network Announces Third Season for Miz & Mrs.
As reported on multiple platforms, USA Network has officially announced that they intend to renew Miz & Mrs., for a third season. The hit reality show is a highlight on USA Network and features WWE Superstars The Miz, Maryse, and their family. The series follows their personal and professional lives as they deal with living in the public eye and being WWE Superstars and of course all that that entails. The announcement gained a lot of steam from Mike “The Miz” Mizanin’s appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” And with that, USA Network has officially renewed the hit unscripted reality TV series Miz & Mrs., for a third season.
It’s my opinion that Miz & Mrs., is another example of the market and profit margins for crossover between Sports Entertainment and Reality TV. From Total Divas and Total Bellas, now Miz & Mrs., and of course the newly debuted AEW reality series of Rhodes to the Top, there’s a proven track record of Sports Entertainment based reality shows reaching previously untapped demographics in modern pop culture. This ultimately appeals to a wider audience which equals more eyeballs. Which of course translates in business to mean more money. More eyeballs more money. More demographics more money.
To be honest, I have to say, that I have thoroughly enjoyed the first two seasons Miz & Mrs., and I am not at all surprised that the series has been reported as ranking among the top 10 returning series in year to year growth as it concerns all the key demographics. Overall, Miz and Mrs., gives an undiluted glimpse into the infamously luxurious lifestyle of these two WWE Superstars. From their marriage life. To their personal lives. To their professional WWE lives and their other ventures from films and TV to cosmetic companies, photoshoots, and more! You get a witty and humorous look at two charismatic people who not only love what they do and their families but also the trials and tribulations that go along with being human beings trying to have it all! The 10 episode season three is expected to air in 2022 and will not be pulling any punches.
USA Network left the end of season two, earlier this year, where Mike and Maryse celebrated an incredible anniversary, the painstaking nerve-wracking pregnancy scare, and more. Maryse added to her already impressive resume which now includes entrepreneur. Mike bonded with his dad which in turn transformed a hobby into a business. And in case that wasn’t enough drama, both Mike and Maryse had to deal with the unthinkable as both of their moms decided they were ready to start dating again, and true to fashion, Miz & Mrs., had completely different reactions to the news. Miz & Mrs., season three will boast 10 action packed episodes promising more drama and love than the previous two. Not to mention behind the scenes glimpses of a day in the life of some of WWE’s biggest Superstars! Catch up on the first two seasons of Miz & Mrs to see all the hilarious moments and tear filled memories therein now streaming on Peacock!
