Upset-King Bryan Barberena vs. Joe Proctor Set For UFC Fight Night 108
A lightweight division affair is the latest addition to the UFC Fight Night 108 card as Bryan Barberena will be seeing action against Joe Proctor.
Barberena (12-4-0) has won three of five fights under the UFC banner and he was the fighter who handed Sage Northcutt his first professional MMA defeat. Barberena has been with the UFC for over two years now and this will be the first time he has competed on a “Fight Night” card. Barberena also scored a big upset win over Warlley Alves.
Proctor (11-4-0) has earned a total of four victories in UFC competition and he is actually undefeated on “Fight Night” cards. Proctor is also a former Reality Fighting Lightweight Champion, but gave up belt when he signed with the UFC in 2012. Proctor was also a cast member on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, where he would make it all the way to the quarterfinals of the reality show.
UFC Fight Night 108 takes place on Saturday, April 22 from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee with Cub Swanson and Artem Lobov headlining.
