WWE RAW Results for 10/11/21 The King of the Ring & Queens Crown Tournament Continue
The King of the Ring and Queens Crown Tournament continue with two first round matches at 8pm EST!
Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight’s edition of WWE RAW!
– Drew McIntyre comes out to the ring to start the show who talks about challenging Big E for the WWE title at Crown Jewel before the champion comes out to the ring and the two exchange words before they’re interrupted by Smackdown Tag Team champions The Usos. The Usos then mock Drew and E before they go to leave and E and Drew are caught off guard before the Usos attack and lay E and Drew out with superkicks before leaving up the ramp.
– Backstage New Day are interviewed ahead of the duo each having a match in the King of the Ring Tournament tonight with Xavier going first against Ricochet up next as we go to commercial.
King of the Ring Tournament First Round Match
Xavier Woods (w/ Kofi Kingston) vs Ricochet
Ricochet and Xavier lock up before exchanging wrist locks and side headlocks before Xavier drops Ricochet with a shoulder block and the two exchange a series of standing switches until Ricochet dropkicks Xavier for two. Ricochet and Xavier exchange strikes before Xavier counters a springboard and sends Ricochet throat first into the top rope before Ricochet stops Xavier up top and hits a high angle superplex as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Ricochet still in control before Xavier comes back with a suplex onto the ropes before hitting a diving stomp and a gut buster for two before Ricochet drops him with a roundhouse kick. Ricochet hits a cannonball over the post before Xavier counters a suicide dive and tosses Ricochet back inside before hitting a springboard elbow drop for the pin and the win.
Winner: Xavier Woods defeats Ricochet via pinfall to advance to the next round of the tournament.
– In the locker room Riddle talks with Randy Orton ahead of their RAW Tag Team title defense at Crown Jewel against AJ Styles and Omos and Riddle’s match against Omos.
Mansoor & Mustafa Ali) vs Hurt Business
Shelton immediately knocks Mansoor off of the apron and he and Cedric isolate Mustafa briefly before he gets the hot tag to Mansoor who hits an inverted atomic drop into an enzuigiri before Mansoor and Mustafa double up on Cedric. Mansoor and Mustafa then take out Shelton at ringside before Cedric pins Mustafa with a driver for a short match.
Winner: Hurt Business defeat Mansoor and Mustafa Ali via pinfall.
Queens Crown Tournament First Round Match
Shayna Baszler vs Dana Brooke
Dana rushes Shayna and takes control early before beating on Shayna in the corner before Shayna catches her when she goes for a hand spring back elbow and Dana counters the Kirifuda Clutch into a series of pin attempts for two. Shayna then locks in an ankle lock before Dana sends her into the ropes and Shayna drops Dana with a knee for the pin and the win in under two minutes.
Winner: Shayna Baszler defeats Dana Brooke via pinfall.
– We get a backstage promo by RAW Women’s champion Charlotte Flair as we go to commercial.
Riddle vs Omos (w/ AJ Styles)
Riddle attacks AJ as soon as the match starts before Omos grabs Riddle and tosses him into the ring before hitting a running splash in the corner and a chokeslam before he goes for the cover and AJ stops him. AJ then tells Omos to roundhouse kick Riddle before he does and AJ shows the replay on the big screen mid-match before Omos hits a trunk slam for the pin and the win.
Winner: Omos defeats Riddle via pinfall.
– After the match AJ goes for a Styles Clash before Randy’s music hits, but he’s no where to be found until he slides into the ring passed Omos and hits AJ with an RKO before escaping and leaving with Riddle.
– Backstage E and Drew argue before agreeing to work together tonight in their match against the Usos as we go to commercial.
– The Almighty Bobby Lashley comes out to the ring and we get a video package for Bobby and Goldberg ahead of their No Holds Barred match at Crown Jewel.
– We get a backstage promo by Sasha Banks ahead of her tag team match where she’ll team up with Bianca Belair to take on Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch as we go to commercial.
Jeff Hardy vs Austin Theory
Jeff avoids a clothesline and smashes Austin’s face into the top turnbuckle before rocking him with a back elbow and hitting an ax handle off of the second rope before Austin counters a Twist of Fate and dropkicks Jeff for two. Austin grounds the high flyer Hardy with a rear chin lock, straight armbar before Reggie comes out with the 24/7 conga line and chases him before they leave and Jeff hits a Twist of Fate. Jeff then misses a Swanton Bomb before Austin rolls Jeff up with the tights for the pin and the win.
Winner: Austin Theory defeats Jeff Hardy via pinfall.
– We get a backstage promo by Bianca ahead of her teaming with Sasha to take on Charlotte and Becky later tonight as we go to commercial.
King of the Ring Tournament First Round Match
Jinder Mahal (w/ Veer & Shanky) vs Kofi Kingston (w/ Xavier Woods)
Jinder slams Kofi to the mat before grounding him with a side headlock and Kofi gets back to his feet and Jinder drops him with a shoulder block before hitting Kofi in the corner and Kofi comes back with a missile dropkick. Kofi lays into Jinder with strikes before hitting a head scissors that sends Jinder out of the ring before hitting a PK from the apron and a trust fall off of the top as Veer and Shanky come over to check on Jinder as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Jinder back in control before Kofi comes back with chops and a diving cross body for two before hitting a diving splash for a near fall before hitting a Boom Drop and getting distracted by Veer and Shanky at ringside. Jinder then gets a near fall off of a crucifix before Kofi hits an enzuigiri and Jinder hits the Khallas for the pin and the win.
Winner: Jinder Mahal defeats Kofi Kingston via pinfall to advance to the next round of the tournament.
– We get a backstage promo by Smackdown Women’s champion Becky Lynch ahead of her teaming up with Charlotte to take on Bianca and Sasha as we go to commercial.
Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair vs Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair
Bianca and Sasha argue about who will start the match before they attack each other and Becky capitalizes before they knock Charlotte off of the apron and all four women brawl with each other. Adam and Sonya then come out onto the stage and demand the match be restarted as they go back to brawling as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Sasha and Charlotte starting the match officially before Sasha counters a Figure Four into a roll up for two before hitting a head scissors into a sunset flip for two. Sasha rocks Charlotte with a kick before Charlotte hits a flat liner and Becky tags herself in before missing an elbow drop and Sasha hits a sliding meteora for two before wringing the arm of Becky and tagging in Bianca. Bianca and Sasha take turns tagging each other too hard before Becky fights them both off and Bianca send Sasha over the top and down onto the floor when Becky whips Sasha into Bianca in the corner. Bianca suplexes Becky and hits a jumping splash for two before Sasha tags herself back in and knocks Bianca off of the top before Becky and Sasha counter each other’s submissions until Charlotte tags herself in. Becky clotheslines Sasha before Charlotte and Becky argue until Sasha hits Charlotte with a back stabber and exchanges strikes with Becky before Bianca attacks Sasha and Becky and the referee throws out the match a second time.
Becky and Bianca then counter each other’s finishers before Sasha hits Bianca with a back stabber and she and Becky counter each other until Becky rocks Sasha with a kick and hits the Manhandle Slam.
Winner: No Contest.
Queens Crown Tournament First Round Match
Doudrop vs Natalya (w/ Tamina)
Natalya slaps Doudrop before they lock up and Natalya backs Doudrop into the corner and lays into her with strikes before they run the ropes and Doudrop drops Natalya before dancing and missing a running senton. Natalya hits a front dropkick for two before locking in an abdominal stretch and Doudrop gets free before hitting a running splash in the corner before missing a cannonball. Natalya then hits a discus clothesline for a near fall before Doudrop counters a sharpshooter and rolls Natalya up for the pin and the win.
Winner: Doudrop defeats Natalya via pinfall to advance to the next round of the tournament.
– Backstage Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley see John Morrison meditating backstage before we cut to Big E getting ready to tag with Drew before Austin Theory shows up and takes a selfie and leaves as we go to commercial.
– Backstage Mansoor is interviewed before he’s attacked by his tag team partner Mustafa Ali.
Big E & Drew McIntyre vs The Usos
Jimmy and E lock up to start the match before Drew comes in and the Usos double up on Drew before Drew kicks the arm of Jey and a snap suplex for two before tagging in E who locks in an abdominal stretch. Jimmy then rocks E with an enzuigiri from the apron before the Usos chain together tags and offense for two before they isolate E and send him into the steps as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to the Usos still in control of E before he comes back with a belly to belly and gets the hot tag to Drew who hits several overhead belly to belly suplexes and a spine buster for two. The Usos drop Drew with a double superkick for a near fall before Drew hits a pair of neckbreakers and calls for the Claymore before E tags himself in and gets dropped with a pair of superkicks for a near fall. E then gets sent into Drew before E hits a uranage before Drew drags E out of the ring and the two argue and brawl at ringside until they’re counted out.
Winner: The Usos defeat Big E and Drew McIntyre via count out.
– After the match The Usos lay out Drew and E before E and Drew come back with suplexes onto the floor before brawling in the ring as we go off the air with Drew laying E out with a Claymore.
