Adam Cole comments on Bobby Fish joining AEW.
Adam Cole and Bobby Fish were one-half of the faction that dominated NXT for several years, the Undisputed ERA. Now, both men are in AEW less than one year after the group split on NXT television with Adam Cole turning his back on all of his former friends.
Currently, Adam Cole is reunited with another group of friends The Elite. Adam is also currently undefeated. This is something that Bobby Fish is already unable to say about himself in AEW, as Bobby lost his debut match to Sammy Guevara.
Speaking during a New York City Comic-Con panel, Adam Cole addressed his former stablemate joining the ranks of AEW. Saying that he is happy to see Bobby even if he is not sure what Bobby thinks of him following the split of the Undisputed ERA.
“The last time I was around Bobby Fish, things with my former group didn’t end so well. I’m not sure we’re on the best terms. However, I am very happy that he’s in AEW, I hope everybody else too. We’ll see if it gets to the point where we invite him into The Elite. I don’t know if I’m emotionally ready for that yet. “
