NXT North American Championship Match, And More Added To 10/12 Episode Of NXT 2.0
Three matches have been announced for the October 12 edition of NXT 2.0.
First, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott will defend his North American Championship against Santos Escobar. Hit Row and Legado Del Fantasma have been feuding for some time now, and the two group leaders are set to renew hostilities once again. Swerve and Hit Row were recently drafted to WWE SmackDown, and he said that once he’s disposed of Escobar, he plans on defending his title on Friday nights.
Additionally, Tommaso Ciampa will face Joe Gacy. Earlier tonight, Ciampa offered a Championship match to anyone with the balls to step up to him. Bron Breakker took advantage of the situation and will face Ciampa on October 26 at Halloween Havoc. Gacy didn’t like Ciampa’s choice of words and deemed it to be toxic and non-inclusive. As a result, he will have a chance to earn a spot in the match at Halloween Havoc, but he has to beat the champion first.
Finally, Kyle O’Reilly and Von Wagner will take on Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland. Wagner has been trying to prove to O’Reilly that he can be trusted and took a step in the right direction when he came to Kyle’s aid during an attack by Dunne and Holland. They will have the opportunity to work together next week on NXT 2.0.
