United Wrestling Network To Crown United World Champion On 10/2
The United Wrestling Network is finally ready to crown a United World Champion.
UWN is a wrestling league headed by Dave Marquez, former NWA promoter and broadcaster. Marquez worked on the concept for the UWN for many years before finally launching the brand with PrimeTime Live, a studio wrestling series that aired on FITE during the latter half of 2020.
In December 2020, Marquez announced that the promotion would be taking a hiatus due to the pandemic and COVID-19 cases increasing. This, along with an injury suffered by Chris Dickinson, forced the match to crown the first-ever United World Champion, Chris Dickinson vs. Mike Bennett to be put on hold.
“We will be back with more action!”
As @CWFHMarquez just announced, we will be taking a break for the holidays, as cases of COVID-19 continue to increase across the country. But #PrimeTimeLive will return in 2021! pic.twitter.com/8pwFcXq6KP

Now, the match will finally take place on Saturday, October 2, 2021, during what will be a taping of Championship Wrestling From Hollywood in addition to the return of PrimeTime Live.
This typing will also feature a six-man tag team match featuring Daniel Garcia, Taylor Rust (the former Tyler Rust in NXT), and BHK against Clark Connors, Karl Fredericks, and Alex Coughlin. This taping will also feature David Finley, Juicy Finau, and more.
