– Speaking on the latest Battleground Podcast, Rok-C names Ruby Soho and AJ Lee as her potential dream match.
“[AJ Lee has] definitely been on my bucket list ever since I started training to become a wrestler. I actually met her once as a fan. I was like, Oh my gosh, like, I’m going to start training. Do you have advice? And she was Divas Champion at the time. She’s like, ‘I’ll keep this warm for you.’ I was always hoping to get in the ring with her. But who knows? It may happen.”
“Ruby Soho is one person that I want to wrestle so freakin bad and when I saw that she was on AEW I was like, Oh. I don’t know how AEW contracts work and whatnot. But I have seen some AEW people kind of wrestle elsewhere. So who knows?”

– Speaking on the Wrestling Winedown podcast, Righteous Reg explains how the Black Wrecellence 500 came to be and details his research process.
I’ve been watching Wrestling for a long time. I watch wrestling, more wrestling than anybody else on the planet shit. Wrestling is on all day wrestling is on right now as we’re having this conversation. Wrestling is just probably when I’m making music, wrestling’s in the background. Wrestling is always on. I’ve been I’ve been to nine live WrestleManias I’ve been to more live wrestling shows than I can count, and I’ve been inside of a wrestling ring. Wrestling has been my entire life for a really long time.
So coming up with initial list that’s kind of how I built upon it. I was like, Well can I build this was how many wrestlers how many black wrestlers do I know I knew like 100 just like off my brain. So research for the original 250 took three days. That was just like me — 100 wrestlers that I knew offhand. Then just going through every other independent wrestler I know like just going through all the means online to try to find these people and so after the initial list every day is a search for black wrestler. I’m searching for black wrestler on Twitter every day. If I see it like it’s out there, online, great. If I see something dope, I’m gonna retweet it, so every single day is something for the list but this year it was from like August 1 until it came out that I just like worked on it.
Sat down with names with all these recommendations I’ve got over the years. So I’m putting out tweets like, ‘I’m about to start doing this list. Who do you guys think might be a good fit? Or you know, something that’s not not on the radar. So compiling all these different things to get together, probably took a month this year to really get the list to where it needs to be.

– Speaking with AP, Tony Khan spoke about the good problem he has regarding having such a happy roster in All Elite Wrestling.
“I think that’s a good problem for any organization to have when you have a deep bench. We have a very deep bench right now. I try to rotate who wrestles on television and give TV time to different wrestlers so we have a lot of people with momentum and can switch out the matches and keep things fresh. I think that serves you well in sports, too, when you can rotate and rest people and give experience to young talent and develop people and also rest your veterans so they don’t have to go out and do it every single week.”

– Speaking with Cageside Seats’ Shakiel Mahjouri, EC3 explains life as a “good soldier” in WWE.
“There was I guess a blind allegiance to my corporate employer at the time and there was probably feigning of happiness because I was in theory living my dream, so to speak,” he tells Cageside Seats’ Shakiel Mahjouri. “With Impact, getting the opportunity, becoming the world champion, becoming a mainstay and a top name there. Going to NXT… having fun, having a good run until the eventual hellish landscape callup.”
He added, “There was happiness and I don’t want to say purpose because that’s what I’m going for now, but there was a sense of wellbeing that I was doing the right things. But when you do the right things — this is something I often tell younger talent — when you’re doing the right things, when you’re a good soldier, you’re gonna be the first in line to get shot. So being a good soldier for that company, they had no problem shooting me. Frontlines and that’s fine, that’s okay. As a person, as a character, we all know the best wrestling characters are extensions of their real-life personality.”

“Brie’s great. She literally just wanted me to be happy,” Danielson said. “She was always like ‘Hey, whatever you decide, I want to 100 percent support you.’ So there was never any pressure from her being like ‘Hey, this might affect Total Bellas’ or anything like that. She never wants to even talk about that. She was like ‘I just want you to be happy.’ And so I’m a very lucky man to have such a supportive wife.”
