Davienne Discusses Limitless Euphoria, Working On AEW Dark, Punching Jon Alba In The Face

On Saturday, September 25, Limitless Wrestling will hold its anniversary event Euphoria in Yarmouth, ME.

One of the headlining bouts on the card is an eight-person tag team match pitting Prestigious (Mac Daniels, Channing Thomas, BRG, & Jon Alba) against Team Davienne (Davienne, Becca, Ashley Vox, & Delmi Exo).

Per the stipulation, if Davienne’s team loses, she must join Prestigious. If Team Davienne wins, Jon Alba is banished from Limitless through 2021.

Ahead of Euphoria, Fightful spoke with Davienne, who is very excited to kick an Emmy winner’s ass.

“You have no idea how much I want to punch Jon Alba in his stupid face. I feel like everyone in Limitless knows; that’s a real punchable face,” she said. “I’ve had to deal with this man and his whole goon squad since March. I’m so over it. I feel like all the Limitless fans have been over Jon Alba for years. We’re just going to get rid of him.”

The main event of Limitless Euphoria features Daniel Garcia taking on Anthony Greene.

Garcia has been featured regularly on AEW television over the past two months. When asked what it’s like seeing the success of Garcia and sharing a card with him, Davienne said, “It really shows that anything is possible and Limitless is such an incredible platform to create the art of wrestling. Daniel Garcia is so freaking talented. It’s great to see someone like him achieving his goal on a higher platform like him and Lee Moriarty and JD Drake. These are all people in the same locker room as me and it’s like, ‘My goals are attainable because I’m in the same locker room.'”

With Euphoria being the anniversary show of Limitless and featuring some of the top stars in Independent wrestling, certain pressure will be on all the performers to deliver.

“It’s a lot of pressure,” she said. “The card is always so stacked. You want to be able to have the best match on the card, no matter if Daniel Garcia, Anthony Greene, Workhorsemen, whoever it may be. I always go in like, ‘the fans are going to remember this as the best match on the card.’ That’s what I’m shooting for. The anniversary show, the stakes are even higher, not only because of the stipulation of my match — I will die before I have to hang out with Jon Alba — but because all the matches are going to be incredible and we want our match to be memorable as well. There’s a lot of pressure coming into it.”

Though Davienne has made her name in the Northeast region, she traveled to Jacksonville, FL in January to take on Tay Conti on AEW Dark.

“It was wild,” Davienne said of her AEW experience. “It was super cool though. I had never done any kind of…my very first match was for Ring of Honor, but that was such a whirlwind that it’s still foggy in my brain. I had never done any kind of TV or extra work. It was crazy but it was an awesome experience. Tay Conti is awesome, I would love to wrestle her again. I was recommended so then I reached out and they sent me a date. I went twice. The first time, unfortunately, somebody was injured so my match got cut. Then they were like, ‘we’re impressed enough to have you come back a second time.’ Everything was awesome there, I really enjoyed my experience.”
