WWE NXT Results for 9/14/21 Debut of NXT 2.0 Ciampa vs. O’Reilly vs. Dunne vs. Knight, and more

– The show begins with promos from Tommasso Ciampa, Pete Dunne, Kyle O’Reilly, and LA Knight talking about what they need to do to win tonight to become the NXT champion.
– Bron Breakker (Rex Steiner) appears on screen with LA Knight and says he wants to prove himself. LA Knight says to come out in two minutes, and he will make an example out of him.
LA Knight vs. Bron Breakker
The match begins with LA Knight getting in a few strikes in on Bron Breakker; however, Bron comes back with a series of strikes and a strong lariat. Knight will soon recover and then brings an onslaught of offense in on Breakker. Knight hits Breakker with a nice neckbreaker; Breakker comes back with two big shoulder tackles and a belly-to-belly suplex.
Breakker lifts and hits Knight with a huge powerslam and then pins Knight to get his first victory.
Winner: Bron Breakker
– They return from the commercial break, and numerous NXT talent is congratulating Breakker on his victory.
Imperium vs. Briggs and Jensen
Before the match begins, Briggs and Jensen introduce themselves to the NXT audience. Jensen and Fabian Aichner begin things, and Aichner gets in some good shots on Jensen. Jensen comes back with a nice lariat, and then he hits a powerslam before tagging in his partner Briggs. Aichner tags in Marcel Barthel; however, Briggs lays in some good shots. Barthel hits Briggs with multiple chops before he tags Aichner back in. Briggs tags in Jensen, and he takes care of Aichner with ease.
Aichner hits a double under hook suplex on Briggs as Barthel distracts him. Aichner then pins Briggs to get the win.
Winner: Imperium
B-Fab (w/ Hit-Row) vs. Katrina Cortez
B-Fab takes down Katrina Cortez with a leg sweep; she then sends Cortez to the corner and tosses her into the corner turnbuckle. Cortez gets two shots in on B-Fab before B-Fab hits her with a big pump kick. B-Fab then pins Cortez for the victory. After the match, B-Fab cuts a promo on Elektra Lopez. Lopez comes out with Legado Del Fantasma; Lopez is challenged by B-Fab but Santos Escobar tells her no and the segment ends.
Winner: B-Fab (w/ Hit-Row)
– We get a backstage vignette with Cameron Grimes, Odyssey Jones, and Johnny Gargano. Gargano says he is sad and something is missing. Then, there is a knock at the door, and it’s a returning Austin Theory. Theory says he could not miss Indi’s wedding. He also says that he brought a Priest with him. Damian Priest then walks through the door and is greeted with some free drinks from Cameron Grimes.
– Before going to the commercial, Carmelo Hayes is shown walking to the ring with Trick Williams (Matrick Belton). Hayes says Trick Williams will be with him everywhere he goes. Hayes says that he is done messing around and is going not to hold back anymore. Hayes and Williams are leaving the ring and pass by Duke Hudson. Hudson says Hayes got lucky and pushes by both Hayes and Williams. Hudson gets into the ring; Hudson poses in the middle of the ring and gets attacked by Williams and Hayes.
– Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne are talking to Mandy Rose and say the new Mandy Rose is perfect for the new NXT.
Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter vs. Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne
Kayden Carter and Gigi Dolin begin the match; Carter takes Dolin down real quick. Carter quickly tags in Kacy Catanzaro, Kacy takes out Dolin. Jacy Jayne is tagged in, and Kacy goes to the top rope but is taken down by an interfering Mandy Rose. Rose pulls down her hoodie and reveals that she now has brown hair. Sarray comes out to make the save as Dolin and Jayne are beating down Catanzaro and Carter. The referee calls for the bell; Kacy and Kayden will win by disqualification. During the match, we see Kyle O’Reilly getting attacked by Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland.
Winners: Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter
Sarray, Kacy Catanzaro, Kayden Carter vs. Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne, Mandy Rose
We come back from commercial break, with this now being a three-on-three tag match that William Regal made. Sarray takes down Dolin with a big dropkick. Catanzaro is tagged in, and Gigi Dolin makes it to Mandy Rose, and Rose hits Catanzaro with a series of kicks. Catanzaro goes for a springboard; however, Rose catches her and hits her with a fallaway slam. Next, Mandy Rose tags in Jacy Jayne; Jayne hits Catanzaro with a senton. Rose is tagged back in; however, Kacy makes it to Kayden Carter for the hot tag.
Carter hits Rose with a dropkick, Carter gets distracted by Jacy Jayne, and Mandy Rose wins after hitting Carter with a big pump kick and pinning her.
Winners: Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne, Mandy Rose
– We get a backstage vignette of Candice LeRae helping Indi Hartwell get ready for the wedding.
– William Regal announces that Kyle O’Reilly is no longer allowed to compete because of the attack from Ridge Holland and Pete Dunne. He says Von Wagner (Cal Bloom) will replace Kyle O’Reilly.
Ridge Holland vs. Drake Maverick
The bell rings, and Ridge Holland begins just laying some heavy shots in on Drake Maverick. Holland is punishing Maverick with some thunderous strikes. However, Holland is just toying around with Maverick; Holland headbutts Maverick and then ends it when he hits Drake Maverick with the Northern Grit and follows it up with the pin.
Winner: Ridge Holland
– Tomasso Ciampa says it has been 908 days since he has held “Goldie.”
– We get a promo vignette from Tony D’Angelo.
The Creed Brothers (w/ Diamond Mine) vs. Trevor Skelly and Dan Jarmon
Brutus Creed begins the match, punishes Skelly with multiple hard shots, and throws Skelly hard into the turnbuckle. Julius is tagged in and destroys Dan Jarmon with multiple throws and tosses. He finishes it with a thunderous clothesline. Brutus pins Jarmon for the win. After the match, Malcolm Bivens introduces the newest Diamond Mine member Ivy Nile (Emily Andzulis). Bivens is then interrupted by Kushida; Kushida tells Bivens that he talks too much and challenges Roderick Strong. Bivens accepts the challenge, and we will see Kushida vs. Strong for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship on next week’s NXT.

Fatal 4-Way NXT Championship Match
Pete Dunne vs. Tommaso Ciampa vs. LA Knight vs. Von Wagner
All four competitors start exchanging strikes; Pete Dunne takes out Von Wagner by stretching him out. Tomasso Ciampa then goes after Dunne; Dunne hits Ciampa with a huge lariat. Von Wagner is in control as we head to a commercial break.
We return from commercial break, and we are shown a video from the commercial break with LA Knight sending Wagner into the ring steps. Ciampa is running the ropes and hitting both Dunne and Knight with elbows. Ciampa hits Knight with Willow’s Bell, Dunne stops the pin. Ciampa then hits a dive with all three men on the outside of the ropes.
LA Knight is busted open, Dunne and Ciampa are exchanging strikes. Dunne gets the advantage on Ciampa; out of nowhere, LA Knight hits Dunne with a Super Plex; Knight goes for the pin; however, Wagner breaks it up. Ciampa hits Von Wagner with a big knee, and then he pins Knight to win the vacant NXT Championship.

– We get a video of how the relationship of InDex started and how it led to the wedding.
– We return from the commercial break with Dexter Lumis and guests in the ring. Johnny Gargano walks Indi Hartwell down the aisle. Gargano asks Austin Theory if he has the rings, and he tells Johnny “that we’re in a ring silly.” Ikemen Jiro opens up his jacket and shows that he has the rings.
The wedding guests are asked if anyone opposes “to speak up,” multiple hands rise. Lumis shows that he has a hatchet, and people lower their hands. Hartwell then gives her vows, Lumis is asked for his, but he does a thumbs up. The ordained minister says that it’s probably the nerves, but he needs to say his vows. Lumis puts the ordained minister to sleep. They look for someone to finish the wedding, and William Regal is asked and declines.
Beth Phoenix comes in and will finish the wedding. Phoenix asks Indi if she takes Dexter to be her husband, and she says, “I do,” and then Phoenix asks Dexter Lumis, and he says, “I do,” to the shock of everyone. So Phoenix pronounces them husband and wife.
The camera zooms out, and Ciampa is watching the wedding on a screen backstage, Bron Breakker congratulates Ciampa on his win, and the two have a staredown as we go off the air.
