AEW Rampage Results For 9/10/21 Andrade El Idolo vs. PAC, Brian Pillman Jr. vs. Max Caster, and more

– We are welcome to Cincinnati, Ohio, for AEW Rampage by AEW commentator Jim Ross. Andrade El Idolo and PAC are already in the ring with AEW Ring Announcer Justin Roberts. The match begins right after the introductions.
Andrade El Idolo (w/ Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Jose Garcia) vs. PAC
The bell rings, and Andrade El Idolo and PAC get into each other’s faces. Andrade takes control right away; PAC would take over after hitting Andrade with an arm drag takedown. Andrade rolls to the outside of the ring. PAC hits Andrade with a tope con hilo.
The action goes to the outside for a short time, with PAC now taking control. PAC is still in control after both men get back into the ring. Andrade has the ropes, and PAC has to let go of Andrade; Andrade now takes over after nailing PAC with a DDT. Andrade hits springboard corkscrew plancha. Andrade has PAC’s leg hooked to the turnbuckle, and Andrade hits PAC with a double foot stomp. Andrade now hits springboard/moonsault combo. PAC and Andrade are now on the top rope, and PAC counters Andrade and lands the hurricanrana.
PAC hits Andrade with a big pump kick. The action soon goes to the outside again, and PAC hits Andrade with a superkick. Then, the action goes back inside the ring; PAC hits a 450 splash. PAC goes for the pin, Andrade grabs the rope at the two count. PAC hits Andrade with a quick snapdragon suplex and then hits Andrade with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex into the corner turnbuckle.
PAC has Andrade in the middle of the ring, PAC goes for the pin, and Andrade is about to kick out, so PAC then counters it into the Brutalizer. Jose Garcia now stands on the apron with a taser, and the referee is distracted; Chavo Guerrero gets into the ring and nails PAC with an iPad. Andrade then pins PAC for the win.
After the match, Chavo, Andrade, and Garcia celebrate the win. The Lucha Bros. now come out for the save. Garcia tells Andrade how he won the match; Andrade then punches Chavo. Chavo gets up and is met with a Superkick by The Lucha Bros. Then, Chavo is thrown into the ring, and PAC puts The Brutalizer on him.
Winner: Andrade (w/ Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Jose Garcia)
– Darby Allin and Sting are in the ring with Tony Schiavone, and Tony asks them about Tully Blanchard’s challenge for next week’s Dynamite. Sting takes over the microphone and insults Tully, and talks about how Tully rode the coattails of Ric Flair and Arn Anderson. Tully comes out and distracts Sting; this allows Shawn Spears to attack Darby Allin.
– Adam Cole cuts the video promo and talks about The Elite and why he came to AEW. Cole says he trusts Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks with his life, and they trust him. Cole says that he is not in his prime yet, and he will wipe the floor with Danielson. Bryan Danielson is now doing a promo and says he is not going after The Elite; he is going after one man, Kenny Omega. Bryan says that he hopes his first match is against Omega. After that, Bryan says he will wrestle someone else if need be; one of the reasons that he came to AEW was because “everyone is hungry and wants to prove themselves.”
Dr. Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Rebel, Not Reba vs. Ruby Soho, Kris Statlander, and Riho
The match begins with Riho and Britt Baker; Riho hits Baker with a knee, and Riho goes for another one; however, Baker dives out of the way. Riho tags Kris Statlander, Statlander hits Baker with a powerslam. Baker tags Rebel. Statlander and Riho double-team and get a few kicks in on Rebel. Rebel tags in Jamie Hayter; Riho hits the 619 to Hayter. Hayter is back up getting a few strikes as we go to a commercial break.
Statlander hits Rebel and Hayter with a double suplex. Baker makes the save when Statlander goes for the cover. Riho goes to the top turnbuckle and dives onto Hayter on the outside. Soho hits Rebel with the Pele kick to get the win.
Winners: Ruby Soho, Kris Statlander, and Riho
– The AEW announcers go over some of the scheduled matches for next week’s AEW Dynamite. Caster says that he will have Anthony Bowens with him, and he is tired of people telling Pillman that he is good when he is not. Pillman says that he has the hometown crowd going in his favor.
Brian Pillman Jr. vs. Max Caster (w/ Anthony Bowens)
Max Caster comes out cutting a rap and takes shots at Pillman, City of Cincinnati, Pete Rose, and Skyline Chilli. Brian Pillman Jr.’s music hits, and Pillman runs down and attacks Caster. The bell rings, and Pillman Jr. is in control. Caster takes control after he distracts the referee, and Anthony Bowens grabs the legs of Pillman as he goes for a springboard dive. Caster is in complete control; Caster occasionally sends Pillman out of the ring and then distracts the referee again, allowing Bowens to capitalize and get a few strikes in.
Pillman makes a comeback after Caster hesitates on his next move. Pillman goes to the top rope, and before he can make his move, Bowens pulls Pillman off the top rope. Caster goes to the top rope and goes for the Mic Drop but misses. Pillman capitalizes and hits the springboard clothesline on Caster. Pillman pins Caster for the win.
After the match, Pillman celebrates with his family. Then, Pillman gets back into the ring and is attacked by Bowens and Caster. Bowens is lining up Pillman to hit him with the Boombox; however, Cincinnati native Jon Moxley comes out to save Pillman and attacks Bowens and Pillman takes care of Caster. Pillman and Moxley stand tall as we go off the air.
Winner: Brian Pillman Jr.
