Amanda Nunes vs. Julianna Pena Rebooked For UFC 269 In December
Two division UFC champion Amanda Nunes will put her women’s bantamweight title on the line against Julianna Pena in December.
The promotion made the announcement official via the following tweet, confirming the pair had been rebooked to face off at UFC 269 on December 11, after their initial booking at UFC 265 was cancelled because of Nunes contracting COVID-19.

Nunes is currently on a 12-fight winning streak and hasn’t lost a bout since September 2014. She won her most recent Octagon outing, defending her UFC women’s featherweight title by submitting Megan Anderson in the first round via a reverse triangle armbar at UFC 259. Pena on the other hand is 2-2 in her last four fights and defeated Sara McMann via a third-round submission due to a rear-naked choke at UFC 257 in her latest appearance.
