SmackDown Viewership Sees Increase With 10 Man Battle Royal On 2/21
Tuesday Night's episode of SmackDown Live, which featured two highly anticipated advertised matches–a Falls Count Anywhere grudge match between Nikki Bella and Natalya, and a 10-man #1 Contendership Over-The-Top Battle Royal–plus an impromptu Women's Championship Match for the newly vacant title, drew 2.792 million viewers. This is an increase of more than 6% over the 2.626 million viewers that watched last week's Elimination Chamber fallout episode.
This is the second biggest viewership number for the 2017 calendar year, behind only the post-Royal Rumble show, which saw 2.817 million viewers.
According to Show Buzz Daily, SmackDown came in at #6 in viewership on cable for the night, behind Curse of Oak Island, Fixer Upper, The O'Reilly Factor, Tucker Carlson and Special Report. SmackDown was all the way up at #2 in the highly coveted 18-49 demographic, behind only Curse of Oak Island.
By contrast, Monday's episode of RAW drew 3.216 million viewers, which is up from last week's 3.087 million viewers.
