Sheamus Credits Dolph Ziggler For Taking The Brogue Kick The Best
Sheamus has won many world titles with the Brogue Kick, his pump kick finisher.
He’s put down future Hall of Famers in 10 seconds with the move and it’s one of the most protected moves given Sheamus’ longevity and success rate in the company.
Speaking to Ryan Satin on Out Of Character, Sheamus said his most memorable Brogue Kick was the one he hit Roman Reigns with to win the WWE Championship at Survivor Series 2015.
“It would have to be on Roman, the night I cashed in in Atlanta in 2015. That was awesome. The second one, not the first one,” he said.
Sheamus said he would not take back any Brogue Kick, saying “the more the better.”
When asked who takes the kick the best, Sheamus replied, “[Dolph] Ziggler. He takes the Brogue Kick better than anybody. He’s like a rubberband man, he’s unbelievable. Some of the most fun matches I’ve had is working with Ziggy, he’s great. There was actually one on Wade (Barrett) that was a good one too because his face was crumpled up. Ziggy is always complaining that I’ve hit him with too many (kicks) and he’s probably right. He makes anyone’s finisher look unbelievable. He’s incredible in the ring.”
Sheamus is currently hoping to put Damian Priest down with the Borgue Kick as the two are currently engaged in a feud on WWE Raw.
They are set to meet at WWE SummerSlam for the United States Championship. You can view the current lineup for SummerSlam by clicking here.
