Bray Wyatt Released By WWE

Bray Wyatt has been released by WWE.

WWE announced that they have come to terms with the release of Bray Wyatt, wishing him well in his future endeavors.

From WWE:

WWE has come to terms on the release of Bray Wyatt. We wish him the best in all his future endeavors.

Wyatt was signed by WWE in 2009 and was part of the second season of NXT under the name Husky Harris. After a run with The Nexus, he went to FCW where he adopted the Bray Wyatt gimmick and started the Wyatt Family in 2012.

Bray and the Wyatt Family (Brodie Lee & Erick Rowan) made their main roster debuts in 2013. They would go on to feud with the likes of The Shield, Randy Orton, and John Cena during their run. Bray would win the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber 2017.

After the Wyatt Family split, Bray would team with Matt Hardy before introducing “The Fiend” to the WWE Universe at SummerSlam 2019. “The Fiend” would win the WWE Universal Title on two separate occasions and help bring more cinematic elements to WWE.

Wyatt’s final feud came against Randy Orton where he was burned alive and aligned with Alexa Bliss, who currently carries Fiend characteristics such as mind control.

Fightful will have more information on the release of Bray Wyatt as it is known.
