Kenny Omega And The Good Brothers Set For Action On 8/5 Episode Of IMPACT Wrestling
IMPACT Wrestling has announced a big six-man tag team match for their August 5 episode.
On July 29, Tommy Dreamer announced that a number one contender’s battle royal would be taking place on August 12 to determine Kenny Omega’s next challenger for the IMPACT World Title. Omega and Don Callis (joined by The Good Brothers), frustrated by the news, went to the ring to complain about the way they are being treated by IMPACT.
While speaking, The Elite members were interrupted by Sami Callihan, the man Omega defeated at Slammiversary. He announced that he was entering the battle royal and would be coming for Omega once again. As he approached the ring, Frankie Kazarian appeared out of nowhere and attacked Omega, Doc Gallows, and Karl Anderson.
Backstage, Tommy Dreamer announced a six-man tag team match for August 5. Omega and The Good Brothers against Callihan, Kazarian, and a third partner. Dreamer would later recruit Eddie Edwards, asking him to put his differences with Sami aside and do something for the greater good of the promotion. He accepted.
Eddie is scheduled to face W. Morrissey this Saturday, July 31, at Homecoming in a Hardcore Match.
The lineup for next week’s show can be seen below. Fightful will keep you updated if any more matches are announced.
