John Cena Wins First Match Since January 2019 Following 7/23 WWE SmackDown
John Cena had his first non-cinematic match in over two years following Friday’s SmackDown.
Cena teamed with Rey & Dominik Mysterio to battle Roman Reigns & The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) after SmackDown went off the air in a dark match. Cena and the Mysterios were victorious after Roman, who wrestled in his shirt and sweatpants, walked out on the Usos.
Cena hit to trademark offense, including the Five Knuckle Shuffle and AA while taking only a couple of bumps.
okay so apparently when #SmackDown went off the air last night they had a 6-man tag team match which featured @JohnCena, @reymysterio & @DomMysterio35 taking on @WWERomanReigns & @WWEUsos.

Though Cena competed at WrestleMania 36 in a Firefly Fun House match against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, he had not wrestled in the ring since the January 14, 2019 episode of WWE Raw when he faced Finn Balor, Baron Corbin, and Drew McIntyre in a fatal four-way bout.
Appearing on Friday’s SmackDown, Cena was hoping to land a match against Reigns at WWE SummerSlam, but Reigns turned down his proposal. However, Reigns did accept Finn Balor’s challenge for a match, though a date for the bout was not given.
