Victoria On WWE Royal Rumble Appearance: They Paid Very Well
Victoria made a surprise appearance in the 2021 women’s Royal Rumble, entering at number ten and lasting just over seven minutes.
Though Victoria is retired from wrestling, she remains active in the wrestling world as one of the co-hosts of GAW TV.
Speaking to Taylor Wilde on Wilde On, Victoria discussed her Rumble appearance and linking up with Mickie James and So Cal Val for GAW TV.
“I still feel like I’m part of it,” Victoria said when asked about being outside of wrestling following her retirement. “When you have a podcast, you’re still kind of involved in wrestling. I’m retired, I won’t get in the ring anymore unless it’s like the Royal Rumble. WWE is a big platform and they paid very well. I’m not saying hundreds of thousands of dollars or anything like that, it was more than what I’d make from guest appearances on Indy shows. I think Mickie James was supposed to do GAW TV, they were talking about it with Alica Fox. Alicia kind of has a private life and wants to be on the backburner. She reached out to So Cal Val and then my name came up and they reached out and were like, ‘Do you want to be part of the show?’ ‘Yeah, when are we starting?’ ‘Are you serious, do you want to hear what it’s about?’ I go, ‘No, if I get to talk to my friends on video chat.'”
GAW TV stands for Grown Ass Women and features Mickie, So Cal Val, and Victoria discussing lifestyle, entertainment, drinks, and more.
It is unknown if Victoria will get back in the ring. Mickie James is set to serve as the executive producer of NWA EmPowerrr, an all-women’s pay-per-view under the NWA banner. James has said she will be calling Victoria for the event. You can find her comments by clicking here.
