Karrion Kross Seemingly Attacks William Regal, Raquel Gonzalez Retains | NXT Fight Size Update

Here is your post-NXT fight size update for Tuesday, July 20, 2021:

– All night long, Samoa Joe was Furious waiting to confront Karrion Kross for the attack perpetrated on Joe last week. At the end of the show, Samoa Joe came to the ring in an attempt to call out Kross one last time but instead, he saw William Regal laid out on camera in the parking lot, seemingly courtesy of the NXT Champion. You can catch up on the main event segment in the video above.

– In the in-ring main event of the evening, Raquel Gonzalez defeated Xia Li to retain the NXT Women’s Championship. Xia appeared to be in rough shape after the match.

– Hit Row landed another smash hit on Legado Del Fantasma, further establishing dominance over NXT.

– It was a rough night for Austin Theory. In the rain, Kyle O’Reilly forced him to tap out and then it appeared that he, to paraphrase Fleetwood Mac, was going his own way.

– Odyssey Jones defeats Andre Chase to advance in the NXT Breakout Tournament

– WWE NXT TakeOver XXXVI has been announced for August 22.

– Tonight, Diamond Mine lost in tag team competition to Bobby Fish and Kushida.

Mandy Rose was back this week and she kept a close eye on Franky Monet and the Robert Stone Brand.

– Here’s the card for next week’s NXT (airing on SyFy) is as follows

  • Adam Cole vs. Bronson Reed
  • Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa vs. Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan
  • NXT Breakout Tournament (First Round): Carmelo Hayes vs. Josh Briggs
