Moose ‘Definitely Wants’ One Or Two MMA Fights At Some Point
There has been much crossover between wrestling and MMA throughout history with notable names like Brock Lesnar, Cain Velasquez, CM Punk, Batista and Ronda Rousey trying their hand in both sports.
Frank Trigg has done both sports, competing for UFC and PRIDE while making appearances on IMPACT Wrestling as well.
Trigg has helped train Moose, and according to the IMPACT star, he wants to put that training to use at some point.
“I thought about doing MMA,” Moose told Fight Game Media. “I’m really good friends with Frank Trigg and he was actually who introduced me to Scott D’Amore seven years ago. Me and Frank know each other because he was training me when I was with the Falcons because (MMA) is something I was interested in and is something I still want to do at some point. I don’t want to make it a job, but I definitely want to have one or two fights at some point.”
Jake Hager has been able to successfully compete in both sports at the same time, regularly appearing and wrestling for AEW while also competing in the Bellator cage.
Before he steps foot in MMA, Moose will have his hands full with Chris Sabin at IMPACT Slammiversary on July 17. You can view the current lineup for IMPACT Slammiversary by clicking here.
