Former EVOLVE Champion Set To Debut On 205 Live (Spoilers)
A former EVOLVE Champion is headed to 205 Live.

During the 205 Live tapings, Josh Briggs made his WWE debut. Briggs is not only a former EVOLVE Champion, he was the last man to hold the champion as the promotion was purchased by WWE. Briggs took on Asher Hale.
Also on the show, Odyssey Jones (Omari Palmer) made his 205 Live debut. Jones has worked NXT dark matches and recently worked a SmackDown dark match against Robert Roode on July 2.

Previous 205 Live matches were qualifying bouts for the upcoming NXT Breakout Tournament. Andre Chase and Joe Gacy have qualified for the tournament.
205 Live was taped prior to NXT Great American Bash on Tuesday. The show will air on Friday, July 9. Fightful will have live coverage of 205 Live beginning at 10 p.m. ET on Friday.
