Tony Khan Declares That AEW Tag Team Title Match At Road Rager Will Be A Street Fight

A stipulation has been added to Road Rager’s AEW World Tag Team Championship match.

Via Twitter, AEW has announced that the July 7 bout between The Young Bucks and Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo will be a street fight. The decree came down from GM Tony Khan late on Friday evening.

Penta and Kingston earned the title opportunity by defeating the Jackson brothers on the latest episode of Dynamite. After interference from The Good Brothers and Frankie Kazarian, Brandon Cutler accidentally sprayed Matt Jackson in the eyes which allowed Penta to hit a package piledriver for the victory.

Road Rager marks AEW’s return to touring as well as their first show outside of Daily’s Place in over a year.
