Shaquille O’Neal On His AEW Table Bump: No Broken Bones, I’m Made Of Steel
Shaquille O’Neal is ready for his wrestling return.
Shaq teamed with Jade Cargill to defeat Cody Rhodes & Red Velvet on the March 3 episode of AEW Dynamite. Shaq impressed many fans and took a table bump, which ended up landing him in an ambulance that he magically disappeared from.
Speaking to Pop Culture, Shaq said about the bump, “I’m made of steel. There’ll be no broken bones [and] it was actually fun.”
Shaq has stated that he will return to the ring in the summer and he once again has his eyes on Paul Wight.
“I hear Paul Wight’s still talking trash, so I’m going to work out really hard this summer, and maybe we could do something very, very soon. Last time it was due out of bureaucracy and red tape, now there is no red tape. So, I’m going to go on because I’m still kind of sore from the table, so I’m going to go for it this summer, pump these muscles up here. I’ll be waiting for you, Mr. Paul,” he said.
Wight is more than on board with finally facing Shaq, recently commenting that it’s been the “the biggest tease ever.” You can find Wight’s full comments by clicking here.
