NXT Breakout Tournament To Return In July
The NXT Breakout Tournament is back.
Ahead of Tuesday’s NXT it was announced that the Breakout Tournament will return on July 13. Select qualifying matches will take place on Friday’s 205 Live.
The winner of the Breakout Tournament will earn a championship match of their choosing.
The NXT Breakout Tournament was first held in 2019 with the likes of Bronson Reed, Dexter Lumis, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, and Cameron Grimes competing to earn an NXT Title match. The tournament was won by Jordan Myles (ACH), who defeated Grimes in the finals.
