Eddie Edwards vs. Satoshi Kojima Announced For July 1 Episode Of IMPACT Wrestling
A new match has been announced for the Canada Day edition of IMPACT Wrestling.
Just one week after partnering up in a tag team match against Violent By Design, Satoshi Kojima and Eddie Edwards will go one-on-one this coming Thursday, July 1, 2021. Though unsuccessful in their attempt for the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles, the two men showed great chemistry and have formed an alliance ever since the NJPW star debuted in IMPACT earlier this month.
Kojima had been feuding with VBD and his former All Japan rival Joe Doering, with Edwards serving as an enforcer of sorts to make sure that Eric Young’s faction didn’t exploit their numbers advantage. Since his arrival in IMPACT, Kojima has seen mixed results, defeating Deaner and Rhino in singles matches, but he has also lost twice (once to Joe Doering and, again, last week in tag team action).
Should any additional matches be added to the card, Fightful will keep you updated. The full lineup can be seen below.
