Ever-Rise Post First Video Following WWE Release, Say They’re Shopping For A New Network

The show must go on!

On June 25, Fightful reported that the duo of Chase Parker and Matt Martel, known as Ever-Rise, had been released by WWE.

After making a name for themselves as 3.0 on the independent scene, they were signed by the company in 2019. They had become featured more on television during the pandemic era, often competing on NXT and 205 Live. They also carved out a role on the digital side of things, hosting the NXT pre-pre-show and the weekly Ever-Rise Live.

Just one day after their release, Parker and Martel released a new episode of their Saturday morning show, commenting on the fact that they had been released, saying, “The show has been cancelled. This is what happens; you get in bed with the big-wigs, with the fat-cats. We wanted to go to YouTube. We took all the money and negotiations went real sour.” The hardest part of it all, however, is losing producer Anthony who had to stay with “the network.”

Later in the show, they say that they are shopping for a new network, and after mentioning USA and FOX, the homes of Raw and SmackDown, they name AXS and TNT, the networks of IMPACT Wrestling and AEW Dynamite.

During the “Chew of the Week” segment, they talk about having a problem with a major corporation, a publically traded company that’s been around for years, who are soulless individuals who don’t care about the little guy. They then reveal that it’s the phone company that they have a problem with for always trying to “screw them on their long-distance phone calls” from the USA to Canada.
