New IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Crowned At NJPW Kizuna Road
Bullet Club has the gold once again.
At night seven of NJPW Kizuna Road, Bullet Club (Taiji Ishimori & El Phantasmo) reclaimed the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles by defeating Roppongi 3K (SHO & YOH) in the main event.
The finish saw Phantasmo knocking out YOH with the Sudden Death superkick while Ishimori held off SHO from breaking up the pinfall.
After the bout, Ishimori called himself and El Phantasmo, “the real 3K” by saying they are “Kool, Kute, and Klean.” Ishimori also challenged El Desperado, wanting a shot at the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.

This marks the third reign with the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Titles for Phantasmo & Ishimori. The latest reign came earlier this year when they held the belts for just over a month from January 23 to February 25. Roppongi 3K held the titles for 80 days, managing one successful title defense during their reign.
