Don Callis Fired, Deonna Purrazzo Is Done With Susan And Kimber Lee | IMPACT Fight Size
Here is your post IMPACT fight size update for Thursday, June 17, 2021.
– Last week, Jake Something interrupted Brian Myers’ lesson with Sam Beale. This week, The Most Professional Wrestler brought his pupil out to watch Jake’s match on BTI. After Jake picked up the win, he was attacked by Myers, seemingly as retribution for hitting Myers himself during a ringside portion of the match. Beale assisted as Myers hit Jake with The Roster Cut.
– As a result of Don Callis firing Sami Callihan for his attack on Kenny Omega at IMPACT Against All Odds, Scott D’Amore informed Gia Miller that Anthem was sending a representative from the board to the show to deal with the situation. D’Amore’s busyness, however, was not appreciated by Moose, who was looking for a shot at redemption after being attacked by The Young Bucks during his title match.
– TJP defeated Black Taurus to open the show. Later in the night, TJP and Fallah Bahh ran into Taurus and Crazzy Steve backstage where the four seemingly agreed to have a match against one another. Nothing, however, has been announced.

– Scott D’Amore didn’t have any time for Moose, so the big man tried to hijack the show and make it for himself. He was promptly attacked by a returning Chris Sabin who had been out of action since Moose targeted and injured his knee at Under Siege. Sabin would go on to challenge Moose to a match at Slammiversary, which would be confirmed later on.

– Ahead of the Ultimate X match at Slammiversary, Ace Austin and Rohit Raju formed an alliance. The two former X Division Champions plan to take out their competition using the help of their much larger friends, Madman Fulton and Shera.
Fulton lost to Josh Alexander on this night, but it was Shera who came to the ring and attacked the Champion as well as Trey Miguel and Petey Williams. A tag team match was set up for next week between Shera and Rohit versus Trey and Petey.

– Deonna Purrazzo is done with Kimber Lee and Susan. They believe that she wouldn’t be Knockouts Champion without their assistance, while Deonna doesn’t believe they deserve to even stand by her side. The Virtuosa will face Susan in singles competition next week.

– Frustrations continue to mount between Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering. Jordynne, who has been on a losing streak and doesn’t want Rachael’s help, chose not to accompany her partner to the ring for her match with Tenille Dashwood. Thanks to a distraction from Kaleb, Tenille was able to roll up Ellering for the victory.

– Tommy Dreamer was revealed as the representative sent by Anthem. He informed Don Callis that he has been fired from IMPACT Wrestling and that Sami Callihan has been reinstated. As a result, Sami will still be facing Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World Title at Slammiversary.
On May 27, Fightful Select first reported that Don Callis was no longer an executive with IMPACT Wrestling.
Sami Callihan shared a few words with Don Callis as the show went off the air.
