Chris Sabin To Face Moose At IMPACT Slammiversary 2021
Chris Sabin is back!
After losing to Kenny Omega at IMPACT Against All Odds, Moose visited Scott D’Amore with the hopes of getting himself another Championship opportunity. At the event, he was attacked by The Young Bucks while the referee was knocked out. D’Amore said that everything would be sorted out, but that he didn’t have time to deal with Moose at that moment.
Moose then decided to try and highjack the show, hitting the ring and threatening to stay there until he got what he wanted. Unexpectedly, he was attacked by a returning Chris Sabin. The Motor City Machine Gun has been out of action since May 15th’s Under Siege, where Moose and Sabin competed in a Number One Contenders Match. Moose targeted Sabin’s knee during the bout, spearing him three times before going for the pin.
Sabin offered to fight Moose right there and then, but the big man ran for cover. Backstage, he challenged him to a fight at Slammiversary on July 17, 2021. The match was made official by the promotion shortly after this evening’s episode ended.
