Sami Callihan To Challenge For IMPACT World Championship At Slammiversary 2021
Sami Callihan has to wait a little bit longer for an IMPACT World Championship match.
Over the past month, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson have been a thorn in Callihan’s side, attacking him during a number one contender match. Things wouldn’t end there, however, as they also interfered in his bout versus Moose on June 3rd.
As a result of that disqualification win, though, Scott D’Amore argued that Callihan should be added to Moose and Kenny Omega’s title match at Against All Odds. Tony Khan was in attendance on June 10th for a summit, where he and D’Amore announced that this Saturday’s match would remain a one-on-one contest and that it would take place at Daily’s Place.
That said, it was also revealed that Sami Callihan would face the winner of Moose versus Omega for the IMPACT World Championship at Slammiversary on July 17th, much to the chagrin of Callis.
