Charles Oliveira Opens Up On His Financial Struggles, More News | Social Media Roundup
The newly crowned UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira has opened up about his current financial struggles despite being a UFC champion — this and much more on Tuesday’s social media roundup.
Charles Oliveira details his current financial struggles
One of the main problems which many UFC fighters face is not being paid enough.
The payment of UFC fighters has been a hot topic of conversation for many years and it has led to many former and current UFC fighters leaving the promotion and speaking out against Dana White and the UFC for the lack of good pay for fighters apart from the likes of Conor McGregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Nate Diaz.
In an interview with a Brazilian TV station, Oliveira was very open and honest about his current financial issues despite being a UFC champion in one of the most competitive divisions.
Check out the translation of the interview below.

Oliveira said that two of the main issues which impact him financially are the obligation to pay his coaches and sparring partners as well as having to exchange the dollars which the UFC pays him to Brazilian real (Brazilian currency) which has a very poor exchange rate currently.
Hopefully, Oliveira can find some financial stability soon as he very much deserves it.
Do you think that the UFC needs to change the structure in which it pays its fighters?
