Scorpio Sky Discusses His Tag Team With Ethan Page, Sees Them As Two Singles More Than A Team

Scorpio Sky broke away from SCU and after a short singles run, found himself back in a team with the newly signed Ethan Page.

Page had left IMPACT Wrestling, where he was regularly teaming with Josh Alexander as The North, but found common ground with Sky.

Speaking on Sunday Night’s Main Event, Sky discussed his team with Page.

“At first, I was a little…not hesitant, but curious as to where it was going to go. Working with Ethan has been really good. It’s something different, something fresh. I can bring my personality out more than before. We have this weird chemistry that works and people are getting behind it and they like it. I didn’t know Ethan that well when we first started working together, but everything is clicking and it’s working out tremendously. I prefer being the bad guy than being the good guy, it’s a lot easier to make people dislike you than like you. Naturally, I don’t worry too much about making sure everyone in the room likes me. When you’re the good guy, there are more rules. Ethan and I are having a great time and we’re getting to show our style and charisma and in-ring ability. We’re an odd tag team but we’re very good,” he said. “I like to think of us as two singles wrestlers teaming rather than a tag team. We’re an alliance that have a common goal and it’s working. Whether we give ourselves a name or not, we’ve talked about it but there is no set time on whether we do it or not or where we go after we beat Darby and Sting. We’ll see what happens. Darby is no longer TNT Champion. I want to be TNT Champion. Ethan wants to be TNT Champion. We’ll see where everything falls after the pay-per-view.”

Sky & Page are set to team at AEW Double or Nothing to battle Sting & Darby Allin.

Elsewhere during the podcast, Sky talked about whether he’ll need to protect Sting on Sunday. You can find Sky’s comments on wrestling Sting by clicking here.
