Keith Lee On What’s Next: Only Time Will Tell

Keith Lee is still unsure of when he will return to WWE.

Fans haven’t seen Lee on WWE television since he defeated Riddle on the February 8 episode of WWE Raw. Lee was scheduled to compete in a triple threat match for the United States Title at WWE Elimination Chamber, but was pulled from the bout with the announcers claiming he suffered an injury.

WWE has not provided an official status update on Lee since removing him from the bout.

On social media, Lee was asked by a fan what’s next for him. Lee was unsure of the answer.

In April, Lee tweeted that he would “fight like no other to return.”

In March, Fightful Select posted the following update on Lee:

Keith Lee hasn’t been seen on WWE Raw in well over a month, and Fightful was able to clarify why. While it is true that Keith Lee isn’t currently factored in to WWE creative plans at the moment, this isn’t a case similar to Andrade or Aleister Black where he’s simply not used. Lee was sidelined for health reasons in February, and WWE have not cleared him for a return as of yet. Lee underwent some testing following being sidelined, and WWE sources have indicated that he is actively trying to get cleared. WWE had discussed plans for him to win the WWE United States Championship before he was removed from the WWE Elimination Chamber show. He was later replaced by John Morrison, as WWE sources told us, because the match with Lashley and Riddle being a triple threat was “integral.” As we saw, WWE was protecting Lashley from taking a pinfall ahead of his WWE Title run.

As of now, it is unknown when Lee will return to the ring.
