IMPACT Tag Team Titles Change Hands On 5/20 Episode Of IMPACT Wrestling
IMPACT has new Tag Team Champions.
On the May 20 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, FinJuice (David Finlay and Juice Robinson) defended their titles against Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. They earned the opportunity after winning a number one contenders match at Under Siege.
FinJuice originally won the belts from The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows) at Sacrifice two months ago. Tonight, they emerged victoriously from their match against Austin and Fulton but were confronted by Eric Young and Violent By Design immediately after the bell. It was then revealed that Rhino was cashing in the Call Your Shot Trophy that he won at Bound for Glory 2020.
He and Joe Doering made quick work of the New Japan Pro Wrestling superstars. First, Rhino hit his patented Gore on David Finlay before Doering finished off Robinson for the pin and win. After promising to implement a “new plan to combat the sickness,” VBD now holds the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles.
