Sting Wrestling, Stadium Stampede Set For AEW Double Or Nothing 2021; Updated Card

Stadium Stampede is set for Double Or Nothing 2021.

After being offered a chance at a rematch with Maxwell Jacob Friedman and The Pinnacle, Chris Jericho and the Inner Circle were given a week to think about it and they have decided to accept the challenge for the second Stadium Stampede ever and should the group lose, they will be forced to disband.

The Inner Circle has existed from the very first episode of AEW Dynamite and has been the staple villainous group of AEW during the most pivotal point in the company.

The Inner Circle was of course in the first-ever Stadium Stampede against The Elite. That match took place at the beginning of the pandemic and was more of a comedy cinematic match. This time around, The Pinnacle has promised that there will be no comedy spots.

Each member of the group had their chance to personally accept the challenge and the matches now set for Sunday, May 30.

Later, it was confirmed that Sting in his first non-cinematic wrestling match in five years, will team with Darby Allin to go against Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page.

It was also confirmed that Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston will challenge Matt and Nick Jackson for the World Tag Team Championship and Call Wight will be on commentary for the Casino Battle Royal
