Ahmet Kayretli Wants In The UFC

Ahmet Kayretli has competed in over 200 fights throughout the combat sports world, whether it was MMA fights, muay thai fights, boxing fights or anything else.

Kayretli, who is preparing to battle for the Cage Fury Fighting Championships Bantamweight Champion this weekend, wants to get into the UFC soon.

“I feel I was born with this mission to represent and win this belt for my people, and I’ve already dreamed it many times,” Kayretli told MMA Junkie. “I’m getting closer, and I hope (UFC matchmaker) Sean Shelby and (UFC President) Dana White pick me soon because I think I am currently the only pro MMA fighter from Turkey that is close to signing with UFC.”

At CFFC 63, Kayretli will be taking on UFC veteran Nick Pace, it will be the first UFC veteran Kayretli has faced in his professional MMA career.

Kayretli won’t be rattled when he enters the cage against the UFC veteran, because he has been training with top level fighters for a long time now.

“I’ve been around a lot of UFC, Bellator, ONE Championship and WEC veterans but what I gained from training with someone who has the title in my weight class was confidence,” Kayretli said. “It was a way to evaluate myself better, and now I know I can be the future UFC champion at 135 pounds.”

Cage Fury Fighting Championships 63 takes place on Saturday, February 18 from the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey with Jared Gordon and Bill Algeo headlining.
