Fred Rosser (Darren Young) Reveals WWE Network Is Filming Untold Nexus Documentary
A new documentary on Nexus is coming.
Fred Rosser (Darren Young in WWE) revealed that he sat down to film an interview with WWE Network for a new Untold documentary focusing on Nexus. Rosser noted that he was wearing his New Japan jacket.
It was previously revealed by Rosser that WWE had intended to bring back the Nexus for WrestleMania 36 week prior to the coronavirus outbreak. Rosser said in May 2020, “I was actually supposed to be going back for WrestleMania, I think it was because of the anniversary (of Nexus). If this pandemic didn’t happen, I would have been at Axxess and doing stuff for the Network. I was a little bummed out about it. WWE assured me that once everything calms down, they would bring me back to do stuff for the Network and autograph signings and who knows what else. That’s why I stay ready, so I don’t have to get ready.”
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp noted in May 2020 that WWE was supposed to film a 10-year anniversary documentary on Nexus as well.
Today, I proudly wore my New Japan track jacket during the filming of @WWE’s Network Docs: Untold Nexus because I wanted to represent the best hour of pure professional wrestling on the planet #NJPWStrong @njpwworld — @njpw1972 @njpwglobal @NJPWofAmerica #blockthehate #wwenexus pic.twitter.com/6UGobTD5yd
