Anthony Smith def. Jimmy Crute via TKO (Doctor’s Stoppage) (Rd 1. 5:00)
Near the end of a competitive first round, Anthony Smith scored a kick to the knee of Jimmy Crute, which seemed to hit a nerve and deaden Crute’s leg. While he was able to secure a takedown and stay safe for the rest of the round, when he attempted to come out for the second round, the doctor waved the fight off. From what we saw, Smith looked very good, dominating the first round with his jab, before the leg kick ended the night.
