Taya Valkyrie Comments On Her Name Change To Franky Monet In NXT
Franky Monet made her NXT debut on Tuesday, confronting NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez.
Monet is the former Taya Valkyrie, who is a former IMPACT Knockouts Champion and one of the most decorated IMPACT Knockouts of all time.
Fans were disappointed that Valkyrie would undergo such a drastic name change given her history, but she wants everyone to know that things are okay and are all part of the process of evolution.
“Hey guys, I LOVE MY NAME…..maybe since I picked it. Go figure! I could be called Sunshine Tuna and I would make it work!!! So take a breath, stop complaining and enjoy this evolution and ride with me. Thanks #FrankyMonet” she wrote on Twitter.
