NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver – Pete Dunne vs. Kushida Result

Pete Dunne vs KUSHIDA

Pete and KUSHIDA start things off by grappling when KUSHIDA pulls guard before Pete suplexes KUSHIDA onto the edge of the apron and snaps his arm in the ropes. Pete puts KUSHIDA in a bow and arrow before KUSHIDA hits a cartwheel dropkick and they end up on the ramp where KUSHIDA hits a hand spring back elbow. KUSHIDA hits a PK to the arm of Pete before they get back into the ring and Pete locks in a standing double wrist lock before KUSHIDA hits a Pele kick. KUSHIDA counters The Bitter End into a DDT for two before stretching Pete and stomping his spine and the back of his head before Pete stomps the side of his head. Pete drops KUSHIDA with a stiff forearm before KUSHIDA comes back with a suplex into an armbar before Pete suplexes KUSHIDA. They exchange strikes until they collapse before KUSHIDA knocks Pete off of the top and hits a flying Hoverboard Lock before Pete gets to the ropes for the break. KUSHIDA then repeatedly locks in the Hoverboard Lock, but Pete always gets his foot on the rope before Pete snaps his fingers and stomps them before hitting The Bitter End for the pin and the win.

Winner: Pete Dunne defeats KUSHIDA via pinfall.
