Report: WrestleMania 37 Ticket On-Sale Date Delayed Due To Unsigned Contract
Tickets for WWE WrestleMania 37 were scheduled to go on-sale on Tuesday, March 16, but on March 15 is was announced that the date had been pushed back.
WWE said at the time, “The WrestleMania on sale will be moved as plans for the two-night event are still being finalized. We expect a new on sale date within the next week.”
On March 17, it was announced that tickets would be on sale on Friday, March 19.
Jon Alba of Spectrum Sports 360 reports the contract between WWE and the Tampa Sports Authority wasn’t signed by WWE until March 16 at 8:26 p.m. Raymond James Stadium management signed the contract hours later. As Alba explains, the contract not being signed until late on March 16 gives context to WWE delaying the on-sale ticket date.

When the on-sale date for tickets was originally announced, I had put a public records request with the Tampa Sports Authority. I was told on 3/15 that they couldn’t find anything.
Turns out the reason why is a contract hadn’t been signed yet, despite the ticket plan. #WWE
