Thunder Rosa Would Love To Be A Scout And Coach In Wrestling
Thunder Rosa has become one of the most successful women’s wrestlers in the industry over the past year as a former NWA Women’s Champion and a focal point of AEW Dynamite.
Rosa already helps widen the spotlight on women’s wrestling with Mission Pro Wrestling, but she’s looking to do even more in the world of wrestling beyond what she accomplishes in the ring.
“I would love to be a coach and a scout,” Rosa said on AEW Unrestricted when asked about her goals in wrestling, aside from wrestling. “It’s important to have really good talent. When you have a really good scout, we need strong women’s wrestling. We don’t have enough time to train them and mold them, right? We need coachable people that will be there when you need them. I have a big vision and I know AEW will change a lot things in the coming years. That’s one thing I want to do. I will continue to grow my own promotion to where they are almost ready and know what they are doing (for television).”
Through Mission Pro Wrestling, Rosa has helped talent such as Vertvixen, Madi Wrenkowski, and Jazmin Allure get matches in AEW.
Elsewhere during the interview, Rosa recalled a bad experience in her first Lucha Underground match. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
