John Silver Says He’ll Be Out Of Action For 4-6 Weeks
John Silver has updated fans on his shoulder injury.
Silver competed in the main event of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, losing to Darby Allin in a TNT Championship match. After the bout, Allin grabbed the mic and told the live crowd, “I don’t think anybody here knows. I’m pretty sure you dislocated your shoulder halfway through the match.”
Silver made an appearance on the AEW Dynamite post-show with ice on his shoulder. He didn’t confirm any injury, just saying, “My shoulder hurts. I gotta rest my shoulder.” Taking to social media, he said his shoulder is “messed up” but doesn’t think it is too serious.
On Friday morning, Silver confirmed the nature of the injury, saying he will be out of action for four to six weeks, but he doesn’t need surgery and there is no more damage.
