Unsanctioned Match Added To NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver

NXT will not be held responsible for what happens between Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

On Wednesday’s NXT, Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly signed the contract to meet in an unsanctioned match on night two of NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

During his promo, Cole explained that he was Undisputed ERA and that the group was nothing without him, calling O’Reilly a “lap dog.” O’Reilly fired back by saying he grew up while Cole is the same asshole he’s always been.

The segment ended with Cole and O’Reilly being held back as they yelled at each other.

The war between Cole and O’Reilly began at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day when Cole turned his back on the Undisputed ERA by superkicking O’Reilly. Cole continued to sever ties with Undisputed ERA by taking out Roderick Strong and “injuring” O’Reilly’s neck with a brainbuster on the steel steps. O’Reilly would extract some revenge, costing Cole the NXT Championship two weeks ago. The two have gotten into “public altercations” that have led to “the authorities being called.”

NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver is a two-night event with night one airing Wednesday, April 7 on USA Network. Night two will air Thursday, April 8 on Peacock. You can keep up with the NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver card at Fightful’s events section.
