Andrade Thanks Paul Heyman, Triple H, And William Regal For Support Following WWE Release
After publicly confirming his release request on March 18, WWE granted Andrade’s release on Sunday, March 21.
Andrade was signed by WWE in 2015 and found success in NXT, winning the NXT Championship in 2017 and putting on a highly acclaimed match against Johnny Gargano at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia. He was called up to the main roster in 2018 and won the United States Title in 2019.
Andrade had been off television since October 2020 and was not drafted in the 2020 WWE Draft before his release was granted on Sunday.
Taking to social media, Andrade thanked Triple H, Paul Heyman, William Regal, and the fans for their support over the years.

Andrade posted another tweet saying, “happy live, happy wife” in reference to his fiance Charlotte Flair.

Andrade reportedly has a 90-day non-compete clause attached to his deal. His non-compete would expire the weekend of June 20.
