Stephanie McMahon Details What WWE Has Done To Ensure Their Long Term Success

Stephanie McMahon shared WWE’s plan to ensure the long-term success of their business.

Speaking with Bloomberg, WWE’s Chief Brand Officer spoke about how the company has navigated the pandemic, the return of WrestleMania, and growing loyalty among female viewers. One of the final topics discussed was where the company goes once Vince McMahon is no longer involved. Specifically, what can they do to continue growing? She said the following:

“Well, I do think a lot of the institutional knowledge is important. Particularly in regards to the core content that we have at WWE. But also, surrounding our business with really strong, smart executives. That’s exactly what we have and that’s what we have continued to do to grow and evolve our business, so I do think it’s the marriage of the institutional knowledge, the incredible production value, the creation of talent IP and storylines, and really strong business executives to help us grown and expand on our core functionality and what we’re really great at. So I think it’s a combination of things.”

Stephanie, however, acknowledges that there will never be one person who can replace Vince McMahon. Rather, it’ll be a team of people working to extrapolate and continue building upon his vision. Here is what she said:

“I don’t think there will ever be a person-to-person replacement for Vince McMahon, I mean that would never happen. You know, he does too much. The landscape would look different long-term in terms of how everything shakes out, but I think that the marriage of those pieces that I just talked about. Vince can do it all and then it’ll go to a handful of people who can extrapolate and grow his vision and continue to grow WWE’s business long, hopefully, into the future for generations to come.”

Recently, Stephanie confirmed that WWE is planning on hosting 25,000 people on each of WrestleMania 37’s two nights.
